The build began with an excellent straight body and was pulled from the chassis so the underside could be prepped and perfected just as the top side. The paint is a two stage base coat clear coat and has a consistent depth and deep shine to it. Paint is show quality and all the chrome and stainless on the car has been refinished and polished out to a mirror finish. All glass and weatherstripping is new also. The interior has been finished in a beautiful two tone gray leather and features options such as tilt wheel with chrome column, power windows, power seat, air conditioning, CD player with XM radio and power antenna. The rear floor section that houses the battery is also power. The engine for this wagon is a completely rebuilt 455 Oldsmobile V8 with an edelbrock carb and intake and MSD distributor. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic overdrive and the rear axle has a gear ratio of 3.42. The complete drivetrain runs prefect and without issues. The chassis has been updated with power rack and pinion steering, 4 wheel power disc brakes, swaybars, and with all new bushing and springs. The frame has also been clean, prepped, and painted to have a show quality undercarriage. This wagon is about as nice as they come and not only does it look amazing it drives like a dream. Super smooth and quiet with no shakes or rattles and is very responsive. Car is ready to show or for the weekend cruiser, either way it is dependable, comfortable, and is definitely one of a kind.
