1972 Camaro trimmed, equipped and Titled as a Z-28. Trim tag does Not support this. It is currently Registered, Insured and Inspected. Originally a brown metallic painted car with a tan vinyl roof and tan interior with buckets. Decodes as an 8 cylinder car with automatic, power steering, front disc brakes, Posi rear and AC. The car is now orange with original interior dyed black. I have a center console, tilt steering column, stock shifter setup and a 160mph gauge cluster with Tach as ad on parts. I also have an extra trunk lid and torsion spring setup. The car has GTA wheels in gold with fresh Dunlop rubber on it now but ALSO comes with the original Rally style wheels with OEM center caps and trim rings in nice condition. The motor is a 94 LT1 bought 4 months ago. It is a 4 bolt main engine with 90k miles and came out of a Suburban. It was torn down and built back up with a Comp cam 375hp cam/lifter/rod setup from a machine shop in Haverhill, MA that builds motors for circle track cars. It has a Meiling high flow oil pump, new gaskets top to bottom, a new starter, water pump, thermostat, new chrome timing cover with Pete Jackson noisy gear drive, new belts, new hoses, new Be Cool 4 core Hi performance radiator, New ACCEL high performance distributor, 8mm wires, platinum plugs, Flex fan, Freshly rebuilt Quardrajet done by Hobbs in NH, Edelbrock intake, new temp sensor, new chrome air cleaner. Has headers and straight exhaust to Speedway single chamber mufflers and new tail pipes. Sounds mean. Posi 10 bolt rear end with 410 gears. Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. New tach and interior gauges all functioning. New Gabriel shocks up front and Gabriel air shocks in the rear. The car runs killer once warm with only a slight hesitation when applying the gas. Probably could use a new fuel pump as the mechanical one installed doesn't seem to be able to keep up. NO LEAKS OF ANY KIND! I have the original 72 date coded block if you want it. It was a 350 that has been decked and bored .30 and was running 305 heads which I also have. It needs body work as seen in the photos. Floors are solid. Body mounts are solid, Trunk is solid with original spatter paint. Doors do not sag. Rockers are solid. Basically some minor rot/rust primarily on the drivers side and located behind front fender, behind door and behind rear wheel. All the common areas. Passenger mirror not on but included, headlight trim rings not on but included, the drivers side window crank is included but need lock ring to stay in place, no heater blower box..core is intact but the blower is gone.
