themustangshop Store Up for auction from The Mustang Shop is... 1926 Ford Model T Truck This is a nearly-complete restored 1926 Model T truck. It has the original engine and transmission and is in running & driving condition. The complete drivetrain, suspension and steering has all been rebuilt. The drivetrain runs great on both battery and magneto. It also has an auxiliary Warford 2-speed transmission which gives it an additional underdrive; the casing has a 1926 date on it and was likely installed at the time of original purchase. The rear axle has 3.63 gears. The suspension has had the Model A conversion done to use 5-lug Model A wheels. The truck has 2 extra wheels to go with it and all 6 tires are new. Comes with dual rear wheel conversion kit to install the extra wheels if one wants. The new cedar-decked bed was just completed and installed. The pictures show the truck's true condition well - The chassis and body are extremely clean and rust free. The body was painted but the doors and engine cover are still in primer but in great shape; we have extra paint showing the color used on the body. The body VIN matches the title. We ended up with this truck as part of a trade and do not typically deal in vehicles, but found it to be super clean and a neat example of an early truck that you don't find very often. The truck is available to inspect in Auburn, WA during business hours. Customer is responsible for all transportation arrangements and costs, but we can help facilitate pickup at our end if needed.
