THIS IS THE PERFECT FATHER/SON/DAUGHTER PROJECT !! remember working on your car with your dad? those were good times. it brought bonding, knowledge, patience and lots of other lessons to the forefront, and helped forge important relationships for the future. this is your opportunity to pass on this tradition (or start a new legacy). this iconic first series mustang will always be a classic, something to be proud of creating, and is certain to appreciate through time as well. starting with a solid complete southern california car, restoration began. the car was disassembled and sandblasted as needed to make sure things were solid and expose any areas of concern. the jambs were professionally prepared and jambed in medium blue metallic. the undercarridge was prepped and painted.....really looks clean. the car is at the point where it would be simple to go with any color you might like. car comes with a 5.0 ford v8 motor comes with the car, and automatic transmission. this car comes with a factory console. the car also comes with nice chrome aftermarket wheels whcih wear almost new tires. the body panels are included, and most have been primed, are pretty straight, but might require some body attention to be perfect. the only areas of rust are the common spots around the rear wheel wells, which are repairable, and some repairable rust at the bottom of the doors. other than that the car is amazingly solid. as is expected before any nice paint job, there will be dents and dings that will need to be repaired to give that "brand new" look to a 50 year old vehicle. the worse spot is the right quarter, but this is a repair, not a replacement. one door will need some body repairs as well. originally this was a 6 cylinder car, but now it will have a proper drivetrain and performance. the front frame rails look straight, and there are no signs of cracks in the shock towers, as is often the case. the car wears a new core support, so that is nice and straight too. the upolstery on the seats is even pretty good. i will not be able to finish this car, so my loss..........is your gain. the car is advertised locally, and subject to sale at anytime..............so act fast or don't bother. i can assist with your transportation / shipping efforts, can deliver locally, or transport to the local freight companies for overseas shipping, for a fee/ feel free to contact me to inspect prior to purchase. the car is located in paramount, california, or zip code 90271 for your shipping quotes. i do not quote prices, or assist with shipping prior to the end of the auction, and receipt of deposit. deposit is non-refundable. the car does not move until all payments are received and fully negociated. extended storage is available for a fee. this vehicle and all its components are sold on an as-is basis. please under stand and expect an old used car.......that is what it is, and that is what its condition is. there are a lot of parts.....so descriptions, conditions, and availablity are described to the best of my ability. a great starting place.............take it where you want to go !!
