2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Project I purchased this jeep a while back with the full intention of getting it up and in good running shape. I bought it with a slight knock in the engine and decided to take it to a mechanic locally that was known to build good engines for these jeeps. Needless to say I wasted alot of money and time only to have the jeep returned to me in a condition that is not acceptable at all. I have since purchased a new pickup and have no need for a second vehicle. The condition of this jeep is not great at all but it has the potential to be fixed by someone that has the time and ability to work on vehicles. I have listed all the problems that I know of and if you would like to see the jeep in person prior to bidding I highly encourage it. Bad: Engine has low compression and will overheat, will crank but will require a trailor as it hasnt been moved in months Lock switches are not working Sun roof not working Seats/ Interior worn Needs battery Transmission mount needs replaced Minor switches hardware missing Body is not pretty Mechanic tried to jack right side of body not frame, owned by a lady that had strouble parking prior to me owning it bumpers need touching up.
