1990 FORD E-250 4X4 SPORTSMOBILE!!! Up for auction is a gently used 1990 Ford Sportsmobile. Full 4x4 Sportsmobile conversion with larger front and rear differentials, full camping package with pop top and awning. I purchased this rig from the original owner about two years ago. I talked to the original owner so I know the complete history of the vehicle. The original owner bought it in Santa cruise Califonia in early 1991. He moved to Santa Fe New Mexico six months later and the vehicle has been there ever since. Currently the rig is in Albuquerque where I live. The original owner has taken amazing care of the vehicle and had services records dating back to the mid 90's. I have used it a handfull of times for camping purposes and it travels and camps well. I will do my best to describe and explain the condtion of the vehicle, and so there is no miss comunications about condtion I have included a youtube video for you to view. Also please look at High Resolution PICS. TITLE: Clean and free New Mexico title. no leins, no salvage! RUST: ZERO rust CARFAX: clean report. I have copy that I can send to serious buyers only. PAINT/EXTERIOR: Paint is original and the clearcoat if peeling from the NM sun. It seems to have had a little section of the driver side rear corner re-sprayed. OG owner said from backing into poll. ENGINE: Ford 351 v8. Gas engine. Runs great with no smoke, knocks or noises. 153K miles. A/C: ac blows in all levels but does not blow cold. Could use a recharge or service. I have not messed with it so it is unclear what might be wrong. The compressor dose cycle correctly though. TRANSMISSION: shift excellent, no noises or leaks. Do not know if it was ever rebuilt. INTERIOR: Full camping setup. very clean!! Refridge works great Sink does not work because h20 holding tank it busted, although pump works great! Stove I have not tried, but the propane tank is 3/4 full which suggest no leaks. Front seats are worn but not worn out, driver armrest is broken and flops down. Pop top works flawlessly. Cushions are perfect Fold out bed work perfect cushions are perfect. Cabinetry is average condtion. couple handle are broke and large verticle cabinet opens when in motion. latches are weak. overall very good condtion and campable. GLASS: Glass is all perfect. front windshield has small 1/2inch chip that has been repaired. Passenger side windows does NOT roll up or down. Motor is working but window is getting held up. GUAGES/MECHANICAL: All guages work as intended and are accurate. Anti-lock break light stays on but has no issues with breaks. Pass window does not roll down all the way. Switch for power locks on driver door does not work. Radio does not work. POP-TOP: Poptop works great, canvas is perfect with NO holes or tears. it is also NOT fragile. "plastic" windows are also perfect as are all the zippers. TIRES: Five brand new tires! PLEASE LOOK AT VIDEO AND ALL PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Dec-02-12 at 10:47:51 PST, seller added the following information: 1.It has been brought to my attention that the sportsmobile is not an E-350 but an E-250. Ford did not make a E-350 for sportsmobile conversion at that time. 2. Also AC does NOT blow cold. everything else attached to AC works fine. I have not attended to this issue and it could be as easy as a re-charge! 3. This Sportsmobile is a 1990. Shipped to Sportsmobile at end of 1990 for conversion. the original ownerpurchased in early 1991. Sorry for any confusion that this might have caused.
