1969 Dodge Dart, family owned since new. 59 K actual miles. 273 engine, automatic. This is a Dart custom model which has a deluxe interior, cloth. Has power steering and AM radio, no air-conditioning. This a good driver but will need new tires. Has original 13” wheels mounted on car, but I have an extra set of 14” wheels if wanted. The engine is strong and transmission shifts well. I have replaced the front seal but there is still some leakage. Transmission fluid and filter recently changed as well as engine oil. Engine valve cover gaskets replaced as well. I recently removed the tail pipe, as it was rusty and needs to be replaced. This is a 95% rust free car with original paint. Seat covers, headliner, door panels and carpet are in excellent condition and are original to car. The body has nicks and dings. There is slight damage to the aluminum moulding on driver side fender as it is pressed in as seen in one of the pictures. Original paint has held up well. Never wrecked or had bodywork or bondo. This car has been garaged since new and was not driven in bad weather. This is a non-smoker car (as in cigarettes). A fun, powerful, dependable car that draws attention. Can be driven to the new home if buyer desires. This car is sold “As Is”, with no warranty. I challenge you to find a better unrestored, original car in this condition. A personal check is ok, but must clear my bank, usually 3 business days, before car is picked up. I would like to add to the description that the transmission has been rebuilt. A few weeks ago I re-listed this car and had to cancel the auction because the transmission failed. I had not driven the car for at least 7 months and was backing out of my garage when the car suddenly stopped for no reason. Reverse was gone!. I sent this car to an expert transmission man and he said that he was sure the reverse band was broken. Yes the reverse band was broken once torn down. The transmission was removed and completely taken apart,cleaned inspected for wear and reassembled with a NOS rear band. Some new gaskets,o rings and seals were also needed.
