1959 Chevrolet Apache 1 Ton Very rare, factory line built N.A.P.C.O. 4 Wheel drive. NOT a N.A.P.C.O. conversion. Frame, engine, and VIN numbers match. Truck is equipped with the original 235 6 cylinder engine. Truck is stock, except for 4 speed 4th overdrive manual transmission. I still have the original 4 speed transmission. Truck is equipped with the factory installed Bendix Hydrovac power brakes. Original windshield washer system. The title is clear. I purchased this truck from a rural fire department in 2000, running, with 56,000 miles. Truck was set up with water tanks, pumps, hoses, etc… for fire suppression which was removed before I purchased it. Restoration done in 2000. Truck runs and drives excellent, wouldn’t hesitate to drive anywhere. Four wheel drive works perfect, everything works. I have personally bought, restored, and messed around with 40's and 50's trucks for 30 years. I have only sold one truck on e-bay to a very satisfied customer.
