1979 IH Scout II with the Midas Edition Conversion. VERY RARE. V345 Auto Trans This Midas Edition Scout II is very rare and will not last long. Take it home today before it's gone. I'm currently in the restoreation process with this Scout. If I don't sell it...I'll finish it. See Pictures. Interior has been taken out along with door panels, headliner, seats and carpet. Has new Heater fan relay, A/C blower works, No cracks in dash. All lights have been redone and now working. Purchased this Scout recently without Wife's permission....OOPS. Now I'm in dog house. The GOOD: *This Scout has had almost all the running gear replaced with new not salvage parts. *Front and rear differentials new to hubs. *New Transfer case *New Transmission *New Breaks *Aluminum Wheels *Cloth Head Liner *Duel Sunroofs (good to look out of but not open) *Swivel Captains Chairs *Factory A/C (not sure if this works) *Tilt Wheel *Cruise *New Valve Cover Gaskets The BAD: * Needs Fuel Line Replaced * Needs Exhaust Manifold Gaskets ( I have new ones) * Needs Exhaust* Inner and outer Rockers* Floor Pans Engine Runs and is very strong. with no Smoke or Knocks I have all parts that was taken out for restoration. I just don't have the time anymore and would like to see this Scout go to someone that will restore it back to the Midas look. I use Super Scout Specialists in OH.What about the Interior? - As stated above, I have taken out the original interior a while ago to start on the restoration. I have all that goes back in. On Dec-31-12 at 06:11:07 PST, seller added the following information: More Questions Transmission is a 3 speed 727 torque flight automatic trans. 373 posi trac. inside the dana 44 differentials that are completeley rebuilt with all new parts all the way to the rotors and drums. i spent more than the 2 grand on those parts alone.
