1970 VOLKSWAGENKARMANN GHIA Up for auction is a 1970 Karmann Ghia. Has a good running 1600cc dual carb engine with plenty of power. 4 speed manual transmission shifts like it should. It has a beautiful blue paint job. Interior is excellent. Good rubber and glass. Windows and doors work like they should. This is an older restoration that was parked due to shock tower rust. The axle beam has been completely replaced with new, but this project needs a few things in my opinion to be a daily driver.The engine runs good, but has no choke controls so it needs to be warmed before driven. The car has working brakes but they are soft. As I mentioned earlier the axle beam has been replaced but the car still needs to be aligned as required after replacement. It needs a little body, pan and paint work. Overall, this classic is looking for it's next owner to bring it back to where it belongs. These cars bring a nice buck once complete.
