Here is an interesting find~Please read the description completely~I saved this from the dismantlers this week~Literally was headed to the crusher. This car has a vin stop in CA it can not be registered here for road use at all~I have already talked to DMV and this car can not be registered here at all~It could be a trailed race car here sold as parts~Who knows in 10+ years it could fall out of the system, but I am not willing to wait and see. Out of state buyers I will give you a bill of sale, and you will need to deal with your state. I have a couple collectors in other states that are saying they would not have a problem~I do not know~So this is sold as is as described. Now for what I have observed with this car and alot of pixs~Please ask any ?'s before bidding, and talk to anyone else involved in your decision~reserve is very reasonable, and once met I will not sell the car locally~until then it is fair game. I have 2 local offers near the reserve, or I may decide to part it out if the reserve is not met. The car is a very original unmolested 75 Coupe that was built in CA~It has the 5.7l motor I am not sure if it is the original one in that at some point the block was decked/rebuilt. Appears to be a turbo 350 tranny.~The car runs but rough. It will drive onto a carrier. Motor starts and idles ~ under load it cuts out, and a little backfiring~The yokel that had it was a hack and had glued the carb on~I pulled it and put a new gasket one to get it running~In my opinion carb. and motor needs to be rebuilt. Still has CA smog equip. hooked up. Has after market Carter AFB, Edelbrock intake, missing ac under hood, and the rest appears all stock. Interior looks all original~see pixs. I see no exterior rust, and pans all feel solid. According to the seller only 2 owners came up on the lien notice. I think this was a garage kept car most of its life~however the tow company left the windows open and the rear passenger window was broke out~there were a couple big storms that came thru and soaked it so the carpets got wet. It is in dry shop storage now. Super clean car overall~just needs restoration. Again look at the pixs I can not think of anything else to add~Oh Power disc brakes on front. And license plates are gone i.e no plates. I forgot~black lines on trunk are from tape I used to seal it up before they delivered it~averted another storm from hitting the interior. tranny does leak, vinyl top is shot, and almost full of fuel.~This car was tagged and registered when it was liened. Odometer shows 95k unsure if actual or not, and the electric fuel pump is gone~Mr. Shadetree thought more fuel would make it run better after gluing the carb down instead of a $6  gasket. Also front bushing are shot and need to be replaced I have a new set in the trunk, and that is the original space saver spare in the trunk.     TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Most of the items I sell come from a variety of auctions, estates, or even an occasional garage sale. Please see newer pixs I retook the blurry ones, and added some more of areas I was asked about. I also checked the radio~it has real low volume~not sure if it is speaker or radio problem. On Dec-23-12 at 13:39:23 PST, seller added the following information: Somehow title is listed as clear~As stated in the auction several times this vehicle is junked in CA, and a vin stop issued~I was told and have restated it can not be registered in the state of CA. It maybe transported by trailer only in CA. A pure track car that is trailered to events would be fine, or as a parts car you have a ton of oem parts. I parted one of these several years ago, and sold over 10K out of it. I do not plan on doing that with this one though~It would be a shame. Kinda hoping it grows on the wife, and she lets me 1/4 mi it (very doubtful).On Dec-27-12 at 09:57:28 PST, seller added the following information:NOted this morning the passenger side window does not roll up or down~Seems to be off the track. I do have door and ignition keys~the trunk lock is broken/drilled out.
