For starters the original front suspension has been upgraded with a camaro sub-frame which not only makes the truck handle very well but also allows for power steering and power disc brakes. The engine of choice for this project was a GM 350 backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and Chevy 10 bolt rear axle with a 3.42 gear ratio. The rear leaf springs are 1/2 ton chevy and give the truck that perfect ride and stance. The wheels are 17" chrome Torque Thrust. The body is in excellent shape with a super tight fit and finish and the paint looks nice with a great shine. The interior has been finished in a two tone black and purple leather and features power windows, adjustable bucket seats with console, pioneer stereo, tilt wheel, electric wipers, air conditioning, and Classic Instruments guages. The truck drives like a dream on the road, very tight and smooth, very dependable. Always starts right up first turn of the key and idles smooth. I have driven this truck quite a bit and this truck's drivability is quite impressive. The truck is turn key and can be driven home today.
