My Story - I purchased this classic car this year in excellent condition and drivable in the Greater Houston area. There are some upgrades including rebuilt engine heads, conversion to a "Flame Thrower" electronic ignition Would like to get close to what I originally paid for it back if possible. Honestly I did not have to do much with it but since it is my baby I have put a lot of work into keeping it in tip top shape. I have never driven it more than a 50 mile round trip. It has been mainly a driving around the neighborhood on the weekends in good weather. if you appreciate a classic American muscle car in great shape like this one. This would make a great first car for a teenager, care enthusiast or collector. Early Mustangs are very simple, have a classic American car look, are easy to maintain and still easy to find replacement parts for around the country. Exterior Condition Of Vehicle - Excellent Condition Car has pretty clean paint except for a few small surface rust spots on the front lower quarter panel which could be easily addressed. Most chrome is pretty clean, all lights work including parking lights and fog lights (added factory GT package option on this car). Underside of car has no signs of rust. Never been in a major car accident. Also includes original luggage rack that rests on top of the back trunk. Please note the only major scratch is over the tire on the driver's side rear quarter panel (see photo of rear wheel included in this listing to view the scratch) Interior Condition Of Vehicle - Excellent Condition Dash in excellent condition with no cracks with all original gauges present and in great shape. All accessories in working order. The dash still has the original AM radio (still in working order) and has never been cut. You may want to upgrade to a more modern sound system. Seats are original factory GT option pony interior with light blue and white accents and no tears, cigarette burns etc. Blue carpet in very good condition. Windshield and all windows clean with no cracks or chips. Trunk is in excellent shape. Engine/Transmission - In Great Shape Includes original 8 cylinder 289, 4 barrel carburator which still has lots of pep to it. 3 speed automatic transmission is in great shape. And the upgrades as mentioned above include rebuilt engine heads, conversion to a "Flame Thrower" electronic ignition and a brand battery. Starter is also new and replaced within the past year. Tires/Rims Tires are the original factory upgrade GT packge 5 lug 14 inch with Rally Chrome rims. They include 1 inch white walls with red center caps on rims.
