1976 Chevrolet CosworthVega 33735 original miles. Numbers matching original California car. Motor has never been apart. Dash #2094 four speed 373 rear (open). This little (rare) car has a double over head cam fuel injected motor with four valves per cylinder. This was a special edition vega that was only produced in 1975 and 1976 total of 3508 total of about 2061 produced for 1975 and 1447 for 1976. Car runs great. Rear main seal leaks, but the more you drive it the less it leaks (rope seal) The interior is a 9 out of 10. Black interior, seats are vinyl with cloth insert all original with a seem in the passenger side seat that needs to be top sewed . Swing out rear windows Engine compartment is very clean and detailed. Body needs a lot of attention, but is rust free. Right rear quarter panel has damage, but I believe it can be repaired., have a complete used quarter that comes with the car just in case it can't be repaired. This is the biggest part of the car being done, if you do a decent $3000 paint job this car will be a very nice weekend driver/cruse night car. Upgrades include spax adjustable racing shocks. Monza power vented disc brakes (front). 2-1/2" Mandrel bent Custom exhaust with a 18" magnaflow muffler.Stock looking oil pressure gauge where clock was. Original wheels redone in 1999 still look very nice. Tires are Yokahama (v rated) 205/60/13 and are about ten years old, but still look nice and grip the road nicely. My dad bought this car in 1979 when I was 15. I have a lot of documentation including build sheets pictures etc. Car has been garaged ever since then.
