This is my BMW I bought for a easy project that I no longer have time, or money for. I bought it from a guy that let it sit for 7 years in a garage. He overheated it and parked it. I have it running again, I replaced the Battery, Auxillary water pump, high performance fuel pump, alluminum water pump goose neck, driver side motor mount. I also replaced blown head gasket. Heads have been pressure checked. The problem is #5 piston wall is cracked. The car still runs but all water ends up in the oil pan. This car NEEDS a new engine. I'm not sure but you may be able to get it re-sleeved. The body is in good shape. There is a dent in the front left quarter and there are random scratches on the car which most could be buffed out. The interior looks like new, this was a company car so this guy was the only one that ever drove it. I have all the trim for the doors. There is a full size spare tire with same rim. There is a built-in tool kit on the trunk lid. The cost of this car in 1995 was $57,000. The little bit that I did drive it the transmission was strong and shifted perfect.
