Chassis # 9112510346 Engine # 6521522 Gearbox # 911/01 7112956 Paint Code: 324-9-3 (Metallic Blue) A 1972 Porsche 911T Targa 2.4 liter. Matching numbers. The original color was metallic blue with a blue interior but it was painted white a long time ago. I just purchased this from a long term ownership (over 25 years) in California. Excellent straight and honest body. Original floors, some rust in the trunk area only. The interior seems to have been worked on and there are a few missing moldings. The seats are from a later Porsche 911. The Targa top needs to be reupholstered but it is all there. I have been told by the previous owner that the engine was rebuilt but I do not have any records that shows it is. It looks very clean and turns over manually. The engine and gearbox are just bolted in for transportation purposes. Some minor parts are missing from the engine. The wiring harness is disconnected and removed but it comes with the car. Has the desirable 16” Fuchs wheels with good tire. Missing the spare tire. An excellent candidate for a restoration project, a very desirable year for an early Porsche 911.
