This auction is for a 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This was my project that I never got to finish. I have done a lot of work to this car though. This car has a brand new 350 engine with a new 350 turbo transmission. It has a new Holley 650cfm spreadbore carburetor. After I got it running good I took it to a body shop where I and the owner of the body shop worked together on it. I took out 90% of the putty and replaced it with new metal. The majority of this car's body is solid metal. The interior floor is solid too. Then I had it painted corvette red. After that I had a new black vinyl top installed. Unfortunately this is where I started to travel for work and couldn't finish my car. I never did any work on the interior. The last thing I was working on was the chrome. I had purchased a ton of spare parts from a local guy who also built one of these cars. With this auction the winner will also get all of the spare parts. I have about four full sets of chrome for this car and multiple other items. I can give a list of all these spare parts if you wish later. Since I could no longer be home to work on the car built a canvas shed to park it in. The shed lasted until the winter, when a huge snow storm came through Maryland and the shed couldn't withstand the weather. This is how the big scratches and tear in the vinyl top came to be. Ever since then I haven't had the time to build any other sort of protection for the car and its been sitting outside for a couple years now. I had it running last year but this year it wouldn't start. I'm assuming the gas is now stale in it. I've finally come to the conclusion that I'll never have the time to finish this car and would very much like to see it go to someone that'll make something of it.
