Vehicle Detail
Folks, here is a bad to the bone, guaranteed to draw a huge crowd anywhere you take it 1959 El Camino. Pull in to your local cruise night and park on the far side of the show and just watch the crowd come to it when you drop the air suspension. This car was originally built in AZ in the 90's and had upgraded suspension and brakes recently. The Drivetrain has 7000 miles since installed, its a GM 350 crate engine and TH350 trans, we just installed a new aluminum intake manifold and edelbrock carb while doing the resealing and detail of the engine and trans. A new set of Billet Specialties Streamline valve covers were installed along with an aluminum air cleaner and HEI ignition with neatly routed Taylor wires and new tune up parts. A modern power steering box and pump was installed for effortless steering as well as a dual master cylinder and a streetrod style power brake booster. The cool stance and wheels is literally what sets this one apart from the rest, you know its the first thing that caught your eye and made you click on the auction. A professionally installed independent 4 corner system with hidden control is what lets you ride low and park even lower, we added 2" drop spindles with drilled and slotted rotors to the front to get it that much closer to earth. A call to Billet Speciaties was made with measurements we took to get a set of SLD89 wheels in a huge 22x10 rear and 20x8.5 front and they fit snug as a rug with no rubbing or other issues. A brand new exhaust system was built that sounds so awesome and fits tight to the body. The body and paint is nearly 20 years old and is holding up well, its shiny as hell and the body is straight but you will find imperfections and the price reflects. The California one piece bumpers were rechromed and holding up well, most the trim was polished back in the 90's and still looks great, however there is some trim that has dings or other imperfections. The interior is holding up great for 20 years old and everything seems to work like its supposed to. The body seems very solid and don't think its had much work since it was an Arizona car but its does have signs of having some floor work done in passed and I think its fine with no there repairs needed. The car had full features in a few magazines in the early 90's like Super Chevy and All Chevy, I have the articles. Please look at all the pics and feel free to email Hotrod5864@gmail.com with any questions. I encourage bidders to come view the car prior to bidding, I will make myself available just about anytime for an inspection. Arizona issue a new VIN tag with the original vin number when the original was damaged. I am not looking for a trade at this time but if you feel you have something REALLY REALLY REALLY cool and is valued MORE then the El Camino, feel free to send pics and description to the email above.
