This is very-near original 1972 Suzuki TS 185 in great condition. A Colorado bike it's whole life. It was purchased locally in Arvada (still has dealer sticker under the seat), so almost no rust due to our dry climate. I'm not sure this bike has even left the county, except when I rode it to Denver (the next county over) this summer. 3301 miles on the clock. Based on the condition of this machine, I would guess that this is correct. Bike has a top speed of about 70mph and gets great gas milage. Someone on a forum I saw said he used to get 80+ mpg with a light throttle hand. Costs about $5 to fill the tank. Runs great, starts on 1st or 2nd kick and it really easy and fun to ride. I have literally kick-started it with my arm. Could be a great starter bike, bike for a lady, or just something light and fun to to trails and fire roads. As it was designed to be a trail bike, it has a very steady, even power-band (no peaky pipe like an RD or similar), is very lightweight and very maneuverable. 2 Stroke motor with oil pump means just make sure the gas and oil tanks are full, and the motor will always have the right mix. Also means it's mechanically very simple, and reliable. Electronic ignition - no messing with points. Clear Colorado title. DOT approved tires with a couple hundred miles on them, (purchased this summer, so rubber is supple). New air filter element, battery, spark plug, spark plug wire, petcock seal, and a number of other seals, such as the head gasket and flywheel cover gasket. Seat is in excellent shape with no tears. A couple of scraps and dings (see pictures), this bike is not quite a show bike, but could be one with very little work. There's a little surface rust in the taillight housing and a little bit on on the headlamp ears. Front fender looks to be aftermarket. Rims and hubs in beautiful shape. My neighbor thought the wheels were new. Needs gauge light bulbs and headlamp bulb, but tail light works and so does the horn. Hi/Lo switch needs a need plastic switch bit as the little toggle is broken off, but switch functions. Original key, and best I can figure everything else is original. Local pick up is likely the simplest but I will work with a motorcycle shipper if you'd like it sent. A charming and great looking machine that always raises smiles from folks when I park it.
