The last owner being a mechanic who had owned it for the last 12 to 13 years. It has only been in 4 wd drive 3 times during that time. He put m&m locking hubs in the front to keep the front axle from spinning. He had the motor rebuilt with all new GM parts and flat top pistons a few years back. He also had a new throttle body installed with the new motor to insure it always ran well. He added long tube headers with dual exhasut and flowmaster with dual chrome tips out the corners. He installed the headliner himself and put new carpet in as well. The seats also look to have been recoverd. Several years ago he had it recleared to make the paint shine again. He just put on new tires and had the wheels powder coated. He said he had never taken the top off since he has owned it. The front end has dual shocks on both sides and has two stabilizer shocks on the steering. The stabilizers work but need new ruber bushings. There are a few chips in the paint but otherwise no major damage as evident in the pictures. The rear frame has ridges on both sides toward the rear where it was pulled out backwards at one time from the second owner. The mileage is unknown as the odometer does not work. This K-5 runs great sounds great and looks great. It has been very well kept from its previous owner as you can see. The 4wd works all the power windows work including the rear.
