***LOW PRODUCTION ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING*** 1970 Corvette Stingray with under 64,000 original miles. Mulsanne Blue with bright blue interior. Appears to be an older lacquer repaint with some minor touch ups needed. There is also some slight crazing of the laquer on the hood. It looks good from 5 feet away. I have the original Dealer Window Sticker in a frame. This Vette has Power Steering and Manual brakes. It has it's born with original numbers matching drivetrain. L46 - 350 CI, 350 Horsepower Manual 4 speed Muncie M21 Close ratio transmission, good clutch 4:11 Posi rear Original Engine Block 3970010 CTH Original Heads 3927186 Original Intake 3965577 Original Alternator 1100900 Original Starter 1108400 The Vette is missing it's original Rochester Carb & one original exhaust manifold Current carb is a Holley spread bore. Missing exhaust manifold has a replacement manifold in it's place. The original rear spring (gone) was replaced with a composite The original sway bar (gone) has been replaced with a larger aftermarket unit I was told by the last owner that the original tank sticker was in place but I have not verified it. I had new 225/70/15 BFG Radial TA's installed all around. Recent suspension work I just did a tuneup The original shifter has been rebuilt and feels nice and tight. There is an aftermarket radio & speakers (rear) installed. I do have the original AM/FM radio from the Vette and it's included. This Vette pulls nice and handles fine. It does smoke a little when cold on startup (valve seals?) All the lights work and so does the horn. Some of the fiber optics work but not all. The wipers work but the wiper door does not open on it's own. All the gages work however the water temp gage hardly moves and the clock doesn't work The handle is missing from the rear tray. This Vette is located on Long Island in NY and has not been involved in a flood. I suggest bidders come and see the Vette before the auction ends.
