1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham74,554 Actual MilesThis gorgeous Chrysler New Yorker Brougham came from Park City a few years ago where it was purchased and owned by a collector friend who maintained it to the point of wanting to sell it in order to pursue other interests. The documentation is in the folder pictured and most importantly there is documentation from the original owner. I've been a car collector for the past 20 years and have owned several pristine original classics but never have owned one in this condition as to originality and quality and just the mere fact that its been so well taken care of all these years but then again it's only had 2,000 miles a year put on it so just enough to keep it up but not enough to keep it from driving and looking like new.1977 Chrysler New Yorker Broughams were the pinnacle of quality in the Chrysler line and took on the role of the Imperials that had just been discontinued in 1976. This one is truly all original down to the carpet, vinyl roof, glass, upholstery and paint. The first owner at one time may have had some touch up work done, but we really can't tell as the car has never been in an accident. These cars were undercoated as standard equipment at the factory. One small spot of rust on the right rear quarter in the rear and is visible in the photo. The 440 lean burn engine starts and runs beautifully. The transmission operates and shifts just as it should. You would think you're driving a new 1977 Chrysler. Almost everything works on the car, power seat switch on the passenger's seat needs replacing but seat manually reclines.Air Conditioning works wonderful. Power steering, power seats, rear defrost, automatic transmission, power windows, power door locks, original 8 trac player player with tapes that will come with the car from that era. Front headlight doors work like new as does all the power equipment. The original vinyl top in excellent condition. The vinyl top condition is proof of the car being garaged or covered all of its life. All original documentation pictured goes with the car. The car was painted to protect the look and integrity of the original condition.
