1965 Porsche 912 VIN 351857 Engine number 832168 Paint code 6608 This 912 is a solid short wheel base 3 gauge 912 project that needs a full restoration. It was manufactured in midyear of 1965 although I believe it is a 1966 model. It was repainted in the 80s from its original paint code 6608 Aga Blue to red. The original bumpers were replaced at one time with fiberglass S type bumpers. The body itself was left alone and is original. The upper body-doors, fenders, hood, decklid, roof, etc all appear to be solid. It looks like the floors have been patched-there is undercoating underneath the pans. The front suspension pan needs to be replaced and most likely the other pans if you're doing a full restoration. The engine has a European engine code and matches the build date-I don't have an official Porsche Certificate of Authenticity but it should be the original motor as it fits within the period of time the car was built. The engine has Delloroto carbs. The interior was a 80's redo with cool period lowback Recaros and a LeCarrera steering wheel. Cookie cutter wheels. If the buyer doesn't want the seats I'll deduct $300 from the purchase price and keep them myself for a future project. The car is located in Atlanta. Ebay doesn't have a no title option on the pull down menu. Georgia is a non title state for this year car. This car will be sold with an official noratized Georgia bill or sale. This is good for most states. However, if you're state is more restrictive then I can register the car in my name for a $300 fee. This involves a police vin inspection/insurance on the car/cost of an annual registration in the state of Georgia. The car can then be titled in any state with this paperwork or can be cleared with customs for export. Please email me for any further questions.
