1926 Dodge SC Canopy Delivery. Barn find. Stored inside since 1958. Removed from storage in 2006, put back in running condition. Used lightly around town and in the 4th of July parade until 2010 when the owner passed away. I then purchased it and have done nothing to it. It still has 50 year old dirt and grime on it. The body is rock solid with the only rust I have found is some bubbles on the inside of both INTERIOR door panels about one inch up from the bottom edge. These panels unbolt from the door for a easy fix. The cowl, doors and bed have no rust out in the usual places. The wood in the bottom of the bed is original and solid. All the wood in the top is solid. The dash is complete with "Dodge" gauges and the original keys. The seat still has what appears to be some of the original leather material attached to the passenger seat back. It has a roll up curtain behind the driver and the original spare tire and hold down nut under the bed. There are a few dents in the fenders. The passenger running board is the worst. It is made up of four metal strips that could be repaired or replaced. The factory brass tags are still attached to the dash and the firewall, as well as a oil can attached to the firewall. The radiator cap and one headlight ring and lens are missing. They were stolen long ago. The truck is located near Sacramento and is available for inspection before close of auction.
