After being deemed unsuitable in 49 out of 50 US states, the name was changed to the Caravelle. It was officially unveiled at the 1958 Paris Motor Show and was offered as a Coupe, Cabriolet, and as a Convertible with a removable hardtop. The standard model - offered here - featured a 956 CC motor, which put out a freightening 48 BHP and a mind blowing top speed of just 89 mph. Other technical advancements included disc brakes. This particular Caravelle is in need of a new home. Please view the photos for a description of the car's condition. The body has some major cracking in the paint, revealing previous layers of paint. The seats too show signs of major wear and have cracks and rips in them - again, see photos. The engine is all there and does currently run, but needs a tune-up. The car has a clean clear title.
