1994 BMW R-Series

This is a 1994 BMW R1100 RS that I purchased about a year ago with about 176,000 miles and I put an additional 2,000 on it last summer. It looks great and runs great. The guy that owned it before me commuted from LA to San Diego every day explaining the high miles. He was a German guy who kept meticulous maintenance records most of which were done by BMW dealer that I can provide along with owners manual and spare parts. There are a handful of little things that need to be done: new rear tire soon, ABS sensor, Speedo Cable, couple of console lightbulbs, and I think it will probably need a clutch plate or adjustment in the next couple thousand miles. Could use some touch up paint here and there and I have a brand new spray can of factory Mirakesh Red that goes with it. I do not have saddle bags for it but you can get them on eBay along with almost every other part you might ever need. Moving accross country and must sell. I love this bike and don't really want to part with it but it's too expensive to ship. Selling with No Reserve but I reserve the right to remove the listing if it sells on Craigslist before the auction ends. I am moving soon and cannot ship it. Winning bidder must make arrangements to pick it up in Evergreen Colorado no later than December 14th. Just to be honest and up front - like any older bike that hasn't been fully restored it's going to need some TLC. I have done alot but there are still little things that need to eventually be done so if you are slightly mechanically skilled and enjoy working on motorcycles you will be very happy with this bike for a long time.
