Hello Fellow Ebayer's! You are viewing my good friend Tom's 1992 Chevrolet Corvette. Tom is a Veteran of the U.S Marines and does not know how to use a computer. I told him “its ok Tom, you know how to use an M16 and a Tank so don’t worry about it.” Below is what he told me about the car. If you feel I have missed anything feel free to call Tom at 631-645-6416. The Body and Paint- I can see no signs of collision or repair. Tom is the second owner and he has never had any accidents. The paint is all of a 9 out of 10. I noticed a small stress blemish underneath Left taillight that unless you search for it you don’t see it. The other small issue I found was a stress crack about ½” and very hard to see on the removable trim panel next to the battery. (Most likely from a battery install. Again these are minor and it seems like all of these cars have the same issues but I want to make sure I describe the car with accuracy. The Engine and Transmission- This 47k mile Vette drives as new with no noises other than the intoxicating rumble out of the stainless steel exhaust system. All the shifts are crisp and the power is linear all the way to redline. Also being a car guy myself, I can appreciate that this car has always been garaged and all the cad/zinc plating is still as fresh as it was in 1992. The Wheels and Tires- The car sits on the best looking wheels of its generation-the ZR1 and Grand Sport wheels. Tom keeps the inside of the wheels as clean as the outside. I get tired watching him clean this car! The Tires are Good year GSC high performance with more than 75% remaining tread. These Tires have a good “period” looking sidewall to them. The Interior- The black interior looks as if the car has even lower mileage. There is one dime sized blemish on the edge of the drivers bolster (it appears that is where the buckle of the seat belt rests) other than that the interior looks as new. Gauges and Glass- Everything appears clear and without damage/scratches. Again this is a low mileage car. As you can see you would be very safe buying this collector quality Corvette, I’d actually feel safe eating of any part of this Corvette, it is that nice.
