This truck does not have a title, bill of sale only, that's all I need here in Ga. to get it registered, get a tag, serial number is 3JP-G25280 Ebay canceled my listing so I called and I'm doing what they said Truck looks better in the pictures than in person, it's just a little rough Will need new windows, windowshields are a little smokey, side windows and rear window are Lexan, rubber in rear window is bad but all these old cars and trucks need new glass and rubber Some rust in the drivers floorboard, passenger has been repaired I also have a few books to buy parts from or just drive it like I have been. I know I have missed a few things but it is 61 years old, never been restored just keep going by people that couldn't afford to buy a new truck 1951 Chevy pickup truck, I've been driving it for a couple of months without problems, I'm told it has a 1954 full oil pressure engine, it has a 4 speed transmission and is still closed drive shaft, door bottoms hane metel welded in but not bondoed. has later model 15" wheels, no shocks, top of front shock mounts have been cut off for some reson, red oak wood in bed, bed strips have had peices welded on to the ends, I think they had rusted at the front of bed. Body will need body work, small dents all over it, gauges work, all but speedometer and the gear on the transmission end is bad, works with a drill I was told, needs a new light switch, the prong that the wire goes from it to dimmer switch is broken at the switch, I have a switch under the dash to turn on headlights, dimmer works. I think the truck wood be a great one to restore, hate to see it made into a ratrod but that is up to the buyer. This truck is for sale here local so I may end the auction at any time. I wouldn't want to drive the truck for a long distance because of the gearing, about 45mph is as fast as I go and it seems to get around 15mpg, just guessing, also new brakes, I will be paid only in cash at pickup and it is sold as is only. Thanks for lookingOn Dec-05-12 at 05:03:43 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention this truck has fairly new Wal-Mart battery and the truck is 12 volt, it is still a generator but 12 volt, has a reducer for the fuel gage and heater, also forgot, the heater works but I think the bushings in the heater motor are bad, it still works though
