I have always wanted a convertible beetle and purchased this vehicle almost eight years ago as a second, fun, weekend car. Driven short distances around town to run errands and enjoy the convertible. We've decided that we don't drive her enough and that we have too many vehicles and that we are going to sell her. She has been a great car and taken very good care of. She is in excellent condition. New engine with less than 3,500 miles; the belts, clutch & carborator have all been replaced; all other components of the engine are in great condition too. The vehicle runs great; engine maintenance maintained religously by mechanic specializing in classic Volkswagens. The body is in excellent condition with a few minor knicks (detailed in photos). Convertible top mechanics have all been replaced to original specifications and is in excellent condition; no tears or scratches. The convertible boot cover is included and also in excellent condition. Interior is clean and in excellent condition as well; completely re-done eight years ago when entire body was repainted and restored to original condition. AM/FM CD player with removable faceplate; stereo installed under dash to maintain original condition and stereo and make it easy to remove the faceplate while top is down for security. Original owners manual and entire vehicle history has been maintained and will be provided to buyer; includes all invoices for all repair and maintance and photos of vehicle through the referbishing process, in an organized binder. Extra seat belts and various trim replacements with vehicle. This car has been a great car to own and drive. If I had more time to drive her and not let her just sit I would never sell her, it's time someone else uses and enjoys this great car! Buyer is responsible for shipping.
