For sale a beautiful, fully restored 1966 Porsche 912...YES 1966!!! FIRST YEAR FOR THE 912 The one with the three gauges, the only one.A tribute car to the late great Steve McQueen the 'king of cool'. This is a Le mans 24 theme car. A tribute to Steve McQueen's racing film Le Mans 24. All decals and c are authentic. Application of decals is water based and can be removed with no harm to paint. The car can easily pass for show room quality. A stripped down method. all been taken out, sand to bare metal. No rust! California native. Matching numbers The Interior: The Interior was completely done. New red carpet, leather seats. all been removed and placed back in pristine condition. Head liner new and colored match for that year. Door panels and arm rests all new. Radio is the original AM radio with fully functional antenna that goes up when starting car.Dash is the original dash and was redone. looks brand new. Gauges all working and tuned. Instrument lights working as well. Horn sounds great. The Exterior: After it was stripped down and baremetal car was painted in Metalic Silver color with pristine finishing quality. Clear coated. H4 head lights with European yellow film over them. can be removed if desired. The Engine and drive train: Engine was taken apart and was rebuilt, new set of gaskets, new weber carbs, valve job, all bearings new. New clutch, new pressure disk. Transmission was opened and rebuilt. 5 speed transmission, shifts like butter (: suspensions front and rear rebuilt all new bushings. New breaks all four, new break lines. All hoses and lines are new. All bolts are new.. Entire engine comportmant is powder coated in glass finish. This car is a solid car and a lot of fun to drive. It was well done and it shows.
