Vehicle Detail

1966 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Fleetside. This truck has 327 V8 with a 4 barrel. Has a aftermarket aluminum radiator. Has the original 3 speed manual column shift "Three on the Tree". I replaced all the brake system, master cylinder, steel lines, brake hoses, wheel cylindedrs. I put 6 lug steel GM 10" rally wheels. There are new BF Goodrich T/As 255/60-15 tires. There is some rust on the truck, I have welded in new outer floors, rocker panels, and lower fenders. I replaced the rotted out bed floor with a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood, I did not just throw in a sheet It is cut out and bolted in in place of the plank bed. It has a late model cloth seat. This truck runs and drives great. You could drive it home anywhere. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. On Dec-02-12 at 05:43:45 PST, seller added the following information: The 327 motor is not original. I had the engine gone through. It has a reground crank, new 350hp 327 hydraluic lifter cam. the heads have all new valves... The block is supposed to be a 1968 but the heads are 1966. I think the intake is a 1972. The carb is a Rochester Quadrajet. It has a GM HEI distributor. New fuel pump. M/T aluminum valve covers. The charging system works. It has a new clutch. The wipers work. The head lights work, Hi/Lo, tail, brake, the turn light up but they dont blink. The horn works. The Ignition key will lock and unlock the door. Has a new fuel tank that has had fuel tank coating inside. It has a cloth seat out of a 1990 chevy pickup. Rebuilt this truck for my son to drive then he found a 4x4 he wanted more. There is still several places on the truck that need rust repair. The parts are all bolt in. We did all the stuff that needed ro be welded im. We originally planned to just drive it the way it was as a "Rat Rod". It is fun because I almost never am able to stop without people wanting to comment or look closer. The dash had a oil pressure gauge installed in the dash under the heater control. The heater works great, the fuel gauge works....
