This is a 1967 Daimler Sovereign that my grandmother bought to restore about 15 yrs ago and never got around to it before she passed away. She was an avid Jaguar collector in her earlier years and loved these cars. She bought this from some sort of movie prop guy or company and drove it home. Since then it has sat in the garage. It has been covered in the Garage until about 4 months ago. It has an Inline-6 cylinder engine and is a right hand drive so the steering wheel is on the opposite side of American cars. Still has the original tool kit and brass hammer for the knock offs on the wheels. All the doors shut like butter with the softest click you've ever heard. I was amazed at the craftsmanship this vehicle has. I really would have loved to restore this to finish my grandma's dream but I honestly don't know the first thing about these cars or how to go about restoring one. A little info I found: A limited-production English car built at Jaguar's Coventry factory. 4.2L DOHC in-line 6-cylinder - as in the E-type - but with only two carburettors. Automatic transmission. This unit is original, un-restored.
