1995 Porsche 968 . 133800 miles. I purchased this car last spring. The timing belt had broken and the owner just let the car sit for a few years unrepaired in his driveway. My original plan was to keep the trans ,torque tube, rear hatch, mirrors,and door handles for another project. When I disassembled the engine I discovered that only the exhaust valves were very slightly bent. We did a full valve job with new exhaust valves. All new belts , rollers , and h2o pump w/ t-stat. New plugs, 4 new tires, new Interstate battery. All fluids changed. The paint on both the front and rear bumpers have been re-done in the past. The paint on the rest of the car is original and looks better in the photos than it is. There are numerous dents and dings, and plenty of chips ,scratches, and sand pitting. The dash is cracked, the rear carpet is faded, and headliner is tired. This is a GO CAR not a SHOW CAR. Alpine CD player. Cold A/C. New Lt Frt control arm. I have been commuting in this car for a month and have taken it on 2 long trips with no problems. This car would be the perfect candidate for a recreational track day car or daily driver. Less than 300 of these were sold in the USA for the 1995 model year. The trans is NOT LSD. Please keep in mind its a driver not a show car. This car runs and drives very well.
