This TT has been used to commute to work and has primarily freeway miles. Within the past 10,000 miles I have replaced the tires, windshield, brakes, suspension, and fuel pump/fuel filter. I recently had the CV Half-shaft go out on the driver-side front and had a new one installed. The new CV Half-shaft lasted about one week and I then was told by the repair shop that there was a problem with the front transaxle that was the cause of the problem and was told to take the car to an Audi Dealership for the repair of the transaxle. (The transaxle and CV Half-Shaft still need to be repaired). The engine runs great with ample power. The car will drive twice the posted speed limit while cornering with the ESP button engaged (counter braking system). I have driven the car to 135 mph and still had 25% throttle to go. This has been the best commuter car for me with 27 to 30 mpg at 70 mph. If you have the mechanical abilities to fix the transaxle and CV half shaft you will find yourself with $2,000 plus equity in this car which should go for more than $7,000 after repairs. A wrinkle at the end portion of the driver side door was caused while pushing the car out of my garage and with door striking my boat. This is was my final reason to sell the car on eBay. Also the front pumper was pulled slightly forward from the underside catching on a wheel stop that had a piece of rebar or bolt sticking up and a small dent below right side, this was noticed when the car was on the tow truck flatbed after the CV Half shaft was broken the second time. The nose of the vehicle has typical bug and other road debris indications in the paint and I recommend a detailer that will touch up this area to match the rest of the car which is a deep clear coat finish. I know that you will enjoy the car just as much as I have, hopefully with less speeding tickets. This is a re-list of a previous auction item number: 221154530169. I was the victim of a PayPal scam where the high-bidder claimed that they were at a military camp as a "seer instructor for new recruits" (Google search the statement to see other scams by same person). The high bidder requested that he would send additional funds to my PayPal account to pay for the shipping of the vehicle and then sent me a fake letter from PayPal stating all funds are collected, but waiting for me to send the payment to someone in MD for the shipment of the car. Please look out for this scammer in your future eBay, Craigslist and other purchases using PayPal. As a result of this serious waste of my time with the previous listing, I will not allow PayPal for the purchase of this vehicle. I will accept cash, cashier's check or personal check.
