Here is a rare opportunity to own the "RED DRAGON". Won both the 1969 and 1970 baja 1000.Kidding but it doesnt hurt to dream big. 68 pan with 1641cc of raw power. Cut and turned front beam with kyb shocks (new last season) swing axel rear with older bilstein's, new fuel tank and filter, new Pertronics piontless ignition, new IMI high torq starter,new lightened flywheel, new Kennedy clutch and pressure plate,new throw out bearing,new clutch cable, new rear main seal, new empi breather box with stock valve covers. newer bucket seats with 5 point harness ( kinda needs it for the horsepower). Like new BFG radial T/A s, valves adjusted last season with maby 5 hours since. The pan is solid. The car has the old style oil pressure gauge that is leaking a bit so that should be replaced/ updated.The case as also been drilled and tapped for full flow style set up. I also have the stock beam and a tube front bumper i will throw in. Over all a solid fun good running VW. Bought it for my daughter but she's not into the desert.( I know I dont get it either). Street legal with current registration due in May 2013. Happy bidding
