This bike is a beauty and it tells a GREAT story! This is a theme bike that was built to show someones hard life going from drugs, Jack Daniels whiskey to prison, to salvation and forgiveness through Christ. The back of the bike has "Forgiven, Saved by His Blood". The front fender has airbrushed bottle of Jack Daniel's whiskey, drugs, needle, etc... The tank has prison bars with 4 men inside. Built by American Iron Blackland Choppers in Texas, this Ultima chopper is rigid and is low to the ground. This bike was made with quality parts, I see no stamped steel here, just billet aluminum and quality parts. I purchased this motorcycle from insurance auction. The bike had a bent rear wheel (I assume from hitting a large pothole) and am guessing the bike took a dump as it has some chipped paint and abrasions on several places on the bike. To make this a show bike again, it will need to be taken to your favorite painter and have touched up and a few small parts replaced. Even as she is, she shows very, very well. I replaced the wheel and put a new tire on it. I have not ridden the bike except up and down the driveway and out for a quick ride to video it for this listing. The bike is not for the timid. It scares the crud out of me. It's loud, it's aggressive and it feels like it has a lot of power. It feels like a high strung quarter horse. It's a real eye catcher. I pulled my Harley Road King out with this bike into my yard to take pictures. A couple of people came by and looked at it and one had to take a picture and the other wanted to buy it. He offered me 1/2 now 1/2 later or barter for work, or to hold it for 2 weeks, etc! I told him I was going to list it and he said if I still have it in 2 weeks, he will buy it. Although they both liked the Harley too, they kept coming back to this chopper and drooling. :) The motorcycle has current tags through 12/12. The bike starts right up every time and seems to run very, very well. Clutch engages very smoothly as does the transmission. I see absolutely no issues with the drivetrain. There are some things that will need attention. After I replaced the wheel, the rear brake line will need to be bled. This is about a 2 minute process but I don't have a 2nd hand to help me pump and bleed. The brake works but you need to press the brake pedal once or twice to build the pressure to stop bike. The front brakes work fine but require more pressure to stop than I'm used to. Probably needs new pads, perhaps they are glazed. I would replace the starter button (under the seat) as you have to hold it halfway down to engage rather than all the way down. Lastly, I just noticed a hairline crack on the right handlebar mount. It shows no sign of being weak (it won't bend or move if you put weight on it) but to be safe, I would eventually replaced the handlebars. ($50-100) I have 100% positive feedback on all vehicles I've sold. This is very important to me. Please ask any questions you may have and I'll try my best to answer them.
