This is relisted due to a scam bidder.. Up for auction is this 1998 Nissan Altima. It has 91000 miles on the motor. It is listed as parts or repair. This is a vehicle that was donated to the Webster Police Dept. by an insurance co. and was used as an undercover vehicle. This vehicle was regularly well maintained over the years by our fleet mechanic but has not been used regularly for a year or so. The car was recently started and moved accross the parking lot so it does run. It has new tires, less than a thousand miles on them, new front struts. It started with a jump and seemed to hold a charge but it may need a battery soon. Again this car ran great and was used regularly but it has been sitting for a bit, It did start right up and I drove it across the lot and it seemed fine but bid accordinly because it has not been gone over in a while. There are probably other newer parts on this car but I have not had the time to check it out. We have a clean title for the car and a copy of the last registration. It has been registered to the police department for many years now. It does have a VIN number sticker on the drivers door but there is NO VIN tag on the dash due to it being stolen and then recovevered by the insurance company. I'm not sure if this will be an issue or not, but as i said it will be sold with a title, bill of sale, and copy of previous reg. from the police department. because we are not sure about any issues we are listing it for sale as parts, or repair.it is an automatic, Black 4 door sedan. the front of the grill and bumper cover were hit by a snow plow in the lot last winter so there is some slight damage. This vehicle has not been used for some time so bid accordingly. This vehicle is sold as is with no warranty or returns.
