Well, time to upsize, need more space and something to tow with so my Caravan is now for sale. I was going to wait until spring but a deal too good to pass up on came up this week end. If I had the space I'd keep this as my everyday car and just use the new one when I need to tow/haul something. It's a '96 with 123,650+ (driving daily still) loaded ES. I'm the second owner, original took it to their dealer for all services even oil changes. I replaced the struts, sway bar bushings (MOOG) and end links 10k ago and just last week the belt and idler pulleys. It has the typical Chrysler mini van rust, bottom of the sliding doors and dog leg in front of rear wheels, other then that and some minor parking lot dings/scuffs the body is great, paint shines. One strut tower was rusted (as most are from this generation) but I had it completely, no cap patch work, replaced by a pro body shop, it wasn't cheap but it's right and solid/safe. Runs great, rides great, reliable starts every time, hop in it right now and drive 2500 miles cross country. Original owner, older couple, took great care of her as did I. Took it on a trip last month, almost 500 miles each way, smooth and quiet, averaged 26.x, I average 18-18.5 around town, if I baby it at or just under 55 I can see 29+ mpg. I'm in my late 40s and treat my vehicles well. Has typical Infinity stereo, buttons work when they feel like it! I us a cassette adapter to play iPod and use ipods volume control. Two round chips in windshield, low and in middle, don't notice when driving, there when I bought and hasn't been a problem, Also needs typical clock spring replacement, before it went out cruise and horn worked. No AC compressor, was removed before I bought it. Other then that everything works normally, all lights, dash and gages, overhead console and all it's functions, all windows(factory tinted), locks, drivers seat, auto dimming mirror, power outside mirrors, alarm/remote(only have one fob), doors all operate smoothly. Drivers seat shows almost no wear, all others like new, carpet in good shape just some minor stains/dirt that should easily clean out. Head liner coming down a little in spots. Good Michelins, about 50%. Great every day vehicle, haul the family or remove the seats and haul cargo. I'm between Chicago and Milwaukee by the state line, fly/bus/train in, drive home or come and check it out if your close by, I'd really like to have it picked up by next Monday (again, no space here and town doesn't allow us over night street parking) but can probably make arrangements to park it at a friends driveway for another week if needed.
