Vehicle Detail

I have just purchased a 1960 Corvette project and all of my other projects must go, I have several other vehicles listed. I purchased this car several years ago with the intention of making it a hot rod, but it is a very complete example of a 84 year old Pontiac and I just couldnt cut it up. I have driven it several times and actually had it up to 55 mph and it drove pretty good. It has mechanical brakes which are in good condition but I couldnt get them adjusted right and it doesn't stop good. Overall it is in great condition, it has very little rust with the only places I have seen are across the back of the body just above the gas tank, which looks like someone patched it a long time ago, and a little at the bottom of the body on the inside of the rear wheel wells but very little. The running boards are just that, boards, they look ok but they are just wide boards cut to fit. It has all of the original sheet metal other than the running boards. The body has all of it's original oak (I think oak) inner frame work and it is in great condition. All of the doors open and close solidly and fit great. The original leather top is shot but the woden frame work is in good shape, the headliner is still in place. The wooden spoke wheels are in great shape with no visible rot and are very tight.Tires have good tread and hold air but I dont know how old they are I think they are Coker reproductions. I also have the original Indian head radiator cap which looks great and goes with the car. I haven't started the engine in a year or so but I will try to start it before the weekend, it should start right up. The interior looks original, it was blue and cleans up but it needs to be replaced, I think it would probably come apart if it was cleaned agressively. Look at the pictures if you have any questions, email and I will answer as soon as possible. This would make a great restoration or as much as I hate to say it, it would make a great hot rod. Shipping will be up to the purchaser, I will assist with loading as much as possible. There is no title, Georgia does not require a title on vehicles before 1985, I will provide a bill of sale at the time of pickup. Email any questions and I will try to answer as soon as possible. Deposit of US $500.00 within 48 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 7 days of auction close. I will store the truck for 30 days under shelter after full payment is received.
