Honda CBX. 1979. 1/79 production date.4635 original miles.Completely original . California bike all it's life.Rare all original low miles 1979 CBX in excellent condition.Original owner put 3200 miles on it, then put it on display in his private bike collection.It was stored properly with all fluids drained.I bought it in 2006 and put about 1400 miles on it since.It runs perfectly. All original paint, never repainted.The gas tank is in a word, perfect. No dents or scratches of any kind and the paint is as shiny and unfaded as when new.The front fender is like new, also mint.The rear cowl is almost perfect, it has a smal scratch on the right silver part, not worth bothering about.The side covers are also mint with paint as new and no scratches or damage of any kind.The exhaust is excellent with NO rust of any kind, and with excellent chrome. Straight as can be.It has a new set of top quality Metzeler tires fitted about 200 miles ago. They are the first set since the original tires that were getting a bit old and dry.It has the original seat that is awesome. Super smooth foam and cover.Everything works as it should of course including all electrical systems. It runs incredibly well and I look forward to the sound it makes when reved, just great.It has a new gell cell battery and has been serviced so it's ready to go.Starts instantly cold or hot, idles perfectly and has a LOT of power.Brakes work as they should and have been serviced.
