1937 Chevy Coupe I am selling on behalf of the owner so I will do my best to describe this awesome REAL STEEL hot rod but if you have any questions after you look at all the pictures, please feel free to email me at the link at the bottom or through Ebay. 1937 Chevy Coupe Real Steel!(FYI - The owner is in his 80s and has had this car for a large portion of it's life. He gave me the following specifics on it and then said ''that's the best I can remember''. He said the year of the engine, etc. is approx. Please feel free to inspect the car PRIOR to bidding. I will describe it to the best of my ability. It has been in his garage and driven very little recently but I drove it over 2 hours home at 55-60 mph and it ran great. I would set the idle up a little though. It rumbles and sound great like a corvette engine should, but I had to slip it into neutral, or power brake it, at intersections to raise the RPMs. I'm not a mechanic but I would not be afraid to take it anywhere.) MIGHT CONSIDER PARTIAL TRADE.*350 corvette engine with rebuild a few thousand miles ago*Corvette cream and metalic bronze custom paint job *74 Nova subframe *A/C and heat *Tilt steering *Power disc brakes (the booster went out but brakes work fine) *Larger gas tank in trunk (see photo) *floorboards are solid, along with the rest of the car*Drives great and is a comfortable rideThe dash gauges do not work. I haven't checked the fuses. The gas gauge was on empty and moved to full when I put $30 in it. However, it stayed on Full even after a 2 hour trip so it doesn't work correctly. Headlights(dim and bright) and tail lights work. Don't think the blinkers do in the rear. The body is in great, straight condition. Behind the front driver's side fender at the bottom, it looks like there might be bubbles beginning to form under the paint. (See picture) You really have to be looking for it. I don't want to make this car sound bad with all the details I just gave you, but I just want you to be aware that although it's an awesome classic hot rod, it's not a perfect car. So fun to drive. It really gets the looks and thumbs up from onlookers. Love the 2 tone paint job. It really brings out the shape and slants of the fenders and body lines. Good luck and Happy bidding!!
