Vehicle Detail
Professionally built 1970 Triumph 650 T120R Flat Tracker style custom motorcycle. Slim profile, not just another fat tire bobber. This bike is fast, light and nimble - runs like new. It starts on one kick. Tight clutch and gearbox. A real eye popper, built by legendary southern California Four Aces Cycle. Posted on webpage (spider webs) and now has fresh paint, new seat, new Amal carb, front mounted tool can with brass Triumph patent plate & new 4-point headlight. http://www.fouracescycle.com/bikes.html Fresh with the build: NOS Wassell gas tank Wassell Small rounded 2-piece fender Custom fender strut Completely rebuilt engine with everything new that it needed New sludge trap and plug, reground crank, connecting rod bearings, main bearings, three angle valve job, seals, gaskets, washers etc. Custom round oil tank One off custom chrome fork tube covers 21 inch spool front wheel (recently replaced tube and balanced tire) New 7/8 inch Biltwell Aces Bars Cloth covered wiring Joe Hunt Magneto Tires front and rear Shaved front lower legs Fork tubes/seals Voltage regulator Seat springs Headstock and wheel bearings Oil lines Controls and cables Chrome pipes with custom Biltwell Set prototype extensions, molded frame mounts 95% of hardware either re-cadmium plated or new Trees, legs, brackets, foot pegs, brake lever are powder coated black Vincent tail light New Amal installed with full tune up by SF Vintage Cycle (set valves, carb, magneto and an oil change) back in August. Previous owner provided all build information. No documentation on the build. I talked with Wes (good dude) at Four Aces on verification of the build. Judging by the tires and overall condition of this motorcycle, possibly not even a thousand miles on it since the build. This is a radical bare bones custom motorcycle for well experienced bikers only; no gauges, horn or front brake. Shifter is on the left and brake pedal on the right. Paint on tank is presentable but not perfect. Some paint chipped off hard tail by axel on the left side. It’s a vintage Triumph so expect oil drips. New owner might want to jet up the Amal for your climate and altitude. Look at photos and ask me any questions. You are encouraged to inspect the motorcycle yourself before bidding or arrange 3rd party inspection. Sale is final – no returns and no refunds. Please don’t bid unless you have the bucks to buy. I reserve the right to reject bidders with no, low and/or bad feedback. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction at any time up to reserve pop. Texas title in my name. Matching frame & engine numbers. License plate not included. Buyer is responsible for pick up and arranging shipment as required. Non-refundable $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end via PAYPAL. Balance due via wire transfer within 5 business days from end of auction. All fees paid by buyer. No checks and any cash will be authenticated at my bank before you leave with the bike. Payment in full required before Triumph and title given to buyer. On Nov-25-12 at 12:40:58 PST, seller added the following information: Shifter is on right side and brake pedal on left. Do not ask for my reserve or buy it now price, this is an auction, OKAY?
