This is a 68 camaro I picked up a couple of months ago. I had planned on a full resto for the car and it needs one but I can see I will not have time this winter to do it as some of my other projects have been completed for various reasons time and money being the main reasons. So with that in mind this is the first one of my projects up for sale. Its a complete 68 camaro coupe. The car was restored in the early 80's driven for a while and put off to the side and forgotten about. I looked over the car and it is pretty straight as far as fit for panels but it needs just about everything you can think of, floors, trunk, rear quarters, fenders, rear frame rails, the doors look saveable and the side glass is good with the astro ventalation on it. The interior is all there but needs a redo. The motor is a 350 that was put in durning the resto last time it replaced the original 6cyl. The motor is seized even after dropping some oil down the cylinders it won't turn by hand. The transmission is a turbo 400 and I have no idea of the condition but it is in there. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi rear with 411 gears again I can only tell you what I see and do not know the condition of the rear but was told everything was in working order when the car was parked back in 92 or so. I have a transferable registration to transfer ownership to the next buyer that what NY has for cars before 1973. Check the pictures and place a bid this may be your winter project instead of mine!!
