Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction; 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport Its only has 148500 miles on it (It is my daily driver so it may be more by the time of purchase.) The motor has been partially rebuilt and runs strong still. Rebuild happened about 20k ago. Very well maintained, I have records going back for all oil changes. All happened between 3000-4500 miles. Lets get into the Jeep. Optional four wheel drive. It has been lifted 5 inches, all parts have been replaced to accommodate that. New shocks and struts, new steering bar, upgraded u-bolts, and a rear adjustable trac-bar. This was professionally installed and not a budget boost wreck. It has two mounted Hella 500's on the front bumper which are wired to the factory fog switch, so they are street legal(in VA) Two tow hooks mounted in the correct place Rear hatch works perfectly, yes perfectly DOES mean the wiper works and the windshield fluid pump sprays perfectly on the back glass, the defrost also works. I replaced the pistons in the back so it doesn't fall and knock you out, that thing is really heavy. I have a full size spare in the back (The original monkey spare comes with the purchase of the Jeep.) I have an upgraded fan clutch (not installed) that will come along with the purchase, along with an extra tail light. There are extra keys and a key holder thing on the Jeep, I'll place it inside and tell you the best place to put it after purchase. It has a Kenwood CD, MP3, Aux stereo and Pioneer speakers in the rear tower. An Optima Yellow Top battery is installed. The pictures may show some grey trim, I attempted to fix that with forever black, it turned out good, just don't look at it too hard or you'll notice how it streaked. I have extra I will include in the sale. Somethings to take into account. The AC doesn't work, nor does the fan setting on 3. There are two dents, one is nearly impossible to see, you can see the pictures to see how close you have to be to notice it. The other you can see very easily. The rear bumper is dented, check out the pictures, though it does not effect the hatch. There are a few small holes in the seats also, check the pictures. The hood's clear coat is staring up in some places, it looks good wet, so maybe if you live in Washington it'd be useless to fix! Other wise it's still staring up. Over all this Jeep is great, the bullet proof 4L I6 engine is only second to the I8 in reliability and life. Many of these have gone over 300,000 miles and beyond that. They are reliable machines. It has been well maintained and I knew the last owner who installed the lift. It hasn't been on there very long. The four wheel drive works great, I've used it going to the top of Liberty Mountain in town, its never been seriously off roaded. Liberty mountain is more a hill than anything, I'm being serious, not trying to lie. If you have any questions you can message me, I will respond as soon as I can. I do not want to sell the Jeep, but I am driving a lot to work and school every day so I need better gas mileage. If you live within an hour and a half, or would like to meet me I will do partial trades. This is up to the buyer. I will ship the vehicle but YOU MUST ARRANGE THE SHIPPING. I will gladly have it ready to be shipped or locally picked up, which I'd prefer. Thank you! Ride on! On Nov-22-12 at 11:27:08 PST, seller added the following information: Hey, just wanted to give you an update on the tires, maybe you'll be more interested, who knows, they are over 50% probably 75% but i'm going with a low estimate. Go with 60%, anyways, they are very good tires, they are about 30 inch tires at that! Not super large, these would fit with out the lift, so they haven't hurt the transmission!
