I have for sale a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar 88 convertbible. It would be a good restoration project or a good parts car. I believe it has the 350 Rocket 2-barrel V8 engine and it has an automatic transmission. The motor and transmission have both been removed from the car and the engine will need to be rebuilt. There's some numbers on the motor and they are the following: The front of the motor has 1 381917, the back of the motor has a 2 and then under it is a 321, the heads have the number either a U or a zero and then a 570205. It has 59,279 miles on it The body is pretty solid except for some misc. surface rust and some rust/rot on the bottom of the quarter panels, trunk lid, and bottoms of the fenders. The underside of the car is solid except for a few small rust holes in the rear floor boards. The frame is in good shape. The front clip, trim, and bumpers have been disasembled off of the car but it's all there. The trim is all in good shape and the bumpers are solid but will probably need re-chromed. The interior is in good shape except for the carpet needs replaced and the front seat has some tears in it. The convertble top is in ok shape but it does have some tears in it. The driver side door's smoker's window is broken out and the windshield has a crack in it. It has the original GM operator's maual for the convertible top that goes with it. I got this car from cleaning out an estate and it was a 25 year old restoration project that was never finished and the KEYS and TITLE have been lost over the years. This car is sold WITHOUT a TITLE and KEYS but it WILL be sold with a bill of sale. This car is sold "As Is", "Where Is" with No Warranty. Buyer is responsible for pick up/delivery.
