I have up for bid a 1974 International Scout II. I purchased this as a toy, but do not have time to put into it. The engine was shot so I purchased a used engine from a guy who just put a diesel in his scout. We swapped them out and it fired up and ran great. Real strong Scout....then the wire harness caught fire. To the point the fuse box melted. We were going to build a buggy any way so I stripped out all of the wiring and began my first rewire....I still haven't completed the project, the engine was easier. There is rust on the under carriage with several old repairs ( I'll add more pics) Most of the rust is on the body mounts and rocker panel. I have no top except the Bikini. Heater and all ducts are removed, like I said it was to become a buggy and half the heating system was either rusted or removed by the previous owner. So if anyone is handy with rewiring this isn't a bad scout. Dana 44 front and back. 4x4 works great. Will not start at the moment due to the wiring. I should be able to jump the starter to get it going. Hasn't been driven in 4 or 5 months. Needs drivers and passenger seats. back seat is rough. Also for sale locally so I may remove at any time.
