HISTORY: We bought this car at a Smoky Mountain car show from a older man from North Carolina. TITLE: Clear North Carolina in hand and the VIN matches the car plate. IS THIS A REAL Yenko? No! No! No! Its a replica, its like 90% of the other classic cars you find, guys do what they like. The black Yenko stripes look great on white and the hot engine with the 4 speed manual transmission makes it believable to most guys. You hard core numbers guys know the difference, but you also know what a real Yenko would cost. Most people can't afford a real one and if they did they would not drive it on the street. "This is a fun replica, and its priced that way". IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? No rust problems, the frame, the floors, the trunk, under the rear window all look good. The floors look original and good. The underside is not detail and beautiful, but it looks solid to my eyes. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a vehicle I like and can sell for a fair market price, I buy it fix a few things and resell. One small peice of trim is lost off the front fender, its beside the headlight. I have a new one ordered, it will be on when you come to inspect the car. PAINT: The paint is nice, it has a very good shine, no rust bubbles, and it is very straight. The paint is not perfect, but very good. You will find some super/minor imprefections if you look hard with a critical eye. No dents, no dings and the car is straight to look down the sides. The door jambs, trunk lips and all other inside areas are painted decent. CHROME: All the chrome is real nice. The emblems are like new, the bumpers shine good with no dull places. INTEROR: All the interior looks like new, new seat covers, new headliner, new carpet, new dash pad, new handles, new door panels. UNSERSIDE: Nice, but not show deatailed and not covered up with under-coating, it not a beautiful underside, but the floors look to be oringal. A replacement sheet metal has been put around the shifter opening. GLASS: The side windows roll up and down good, the windshield looks new, weather stripping looks very good. SOUND SYSTEM: No radio. ENGINE: The engin is hot (it has power), its a rebuilt Chevrolet 350 cubic inch, it has a mild cam, Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, full tube headers, chrome alternator, electronic ignition. It has timing gear instead of a chain, this is considered a upgrade, it has that gear whine that a lot of guys like. It runs great, no blue smoke, no unwanted noises and no bad oil leaks, what I mean by bad is no leaks that have to be fixed, it does not leak puddles, it may leave some drops, how many don't?. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Nice sounding exhaust system, it has the Muscle car sound. The headers are full tube and not coated, the system is good, but not new. TRANSMISSION: Aluminum cased 4 speed that has no whines and growls, it has a good thight shifter. REAR-END: 10 bolt Chevrolet with no whines or growls. The rear end housing is connected with latter bars, this is considered a upgrade. BRAKES: Drums all around that stop very good. STEERING: The steering is great, the car is power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES : Nice Rally 15 inch wheels with good BF Goodrich tires, the fronts are 215/60/15 and the rears 255/60/15. The tires have rubbed any when I drive the car. LIGHTS and wiring: The head lights work, the tail lights work, the dash light work, the gauge lights work, the brake lights work and the turn signals work. The dome light is not working. THE GAS GAUGE WORKS! SPEEDMETER WORKS! horn not working, GAUGES ARE OLD SCHOOL IN A POD UNDER THE DASH AND THEY WORK. WIPERS WORK, HORN NOT WORKING! . GUAGES: The oil, temp and charge are in a pod under the dash and work. This was an original air conditioned car, past owner took it and the heater box out to put in modern Vintage Air conponents, he never got around to it, no AC or heater box. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? They open and close good. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just too hard! They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves.
