I am selling my 1955 international 1/2 ton pickup. I purchased it on ebay a few years ago and intended to restore it. Other priorities require me to sell it. The previous owner stated that the pickup was never licensed for road travel--it was always used on the ranch in northwest wyoming. The mileage on the odometer reads 4500. I have stored it inside since I purchased it. I have not been able to make it run. The motor turns and it has spark. I believe the carb needs to be rebuilt and the fuel system, including the tank needs to be cleaned so I am going to sell it as is to the highest bidder. It is a very restoreable pickup. It has some small dents and the surface paint is scorched by the sun. There is a small rust through hole in the truck bed. I removed the bottom seat cover and cleaned the springs and disposed of the padding. Mice had nested in it for years. The seat cover is in good shape. This is a used truck that was worked on the ranch. It has a lot of character and will be a nice attractive pickup after a decent restoration. I would encourage potential buyers to look at the truck prior to purchase so you know exactly what you are getting. I am trying my best to accurately describe it.
