The car/body is in GREAT shape and paint is about 3 years old. there is a spot near vinyl top chrome, where clear coat is chipping off. The car was originally a factory 318 with AC and Automatic, but is now is a 4 speed car with a 1970 340 that is COMPLETELY REBUILT AND HAS NEVER been fired. The car was originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I bought it over a year ago as a project car to rebuild, but lately have lost interest in it and ran out of money. It has... -Brand new front and back seats -Brand new Carpet -Front and Back door panels have been redone and repainted -Brake and Clutch peddel installed (along with Z bar and all rods) -Hurst E body shifter with all linkages -71-74 E body Pistol Grip shifter -4 Speed Tranny Hump from "Stephens Perfomance" installed and welded in. -Brand new Vinyl top -Brand New Front and Back tires and rims -Dash has been taken out checked and cleaned (needs reinstauled) -Steering columb with TUFF Wheel installed -New R/T Hood Scoop Inserts -Brand New 1970 340 that has all this done to it and the parts that where used---- Block was bored & honed 0.40 over. It has been checked and cleaned. New brass freeze plugs where installed. (1) set of Keith Black 0.40 piston's with 10.1 compression was installed. (1) set of Sealed Power Molly Rings that where file fitted. (1) set cam bearings. (1) origanal 10/10 340 Steel Crankshaft (was polishied). (1) set of Clevitte 77 rod and main bearings. Hi volume oil pump. (1) Mopar brand set of doudle timing chain and gears. Mopar Purple Cam shaft and lifters (268 - 272 - 450 - 455). New 340 OEM oil pan with New pickup tube. New Windage Tray. ARP Rod bolts. (8) 340 Mopar OEM connecting rod (also poslished). Complete Fellpro gasket set. (1) Mopar OEM 340 Harmonic Balancer. (1) GOOD USED flywheel. LUK brand clutch/pressure plate and throwout bearing. (1) Mopar OEM 340 remote oil filter adapter. (1) Mopar Racing oil pump drive shaft. (1) Set of Mopar adjustable rocker arms. (1) set of J heads that where ported and harded valve seats installed with 2.02 valves. New K LINE Bronze Guides. (8) New Exhaust Valves and (8) New Mopar OEM Intake Guides. (1) set Urethane postive seal valve seals. Guides where cut down for extra clearance. (1) New set of ISKY valve springs (60005A). Surfaced the heads with 3 angle valve job. (1) set HYD Comp Cam pushrods. Cylinder heads C.C 63. Whole motor was balanced. Main bearing clearance 2.3 / 2.5 Rod clearance 1.8 / 2.0 Rod to Rod clearance 0.10 / 0.12. Oil pressure is 80 psi cold. -There is over $7,000.00 invested in just the motor and I have all paper work on motor and no corners where cut in assembling / building the motor. The motor work / built by a guy in Sunland,CA by the name og "HEMIGEORGE" aka George Ilanjian. He is a well known Mopar builder / collector. -I AM WILLING TO SELL JUST THE 1973 DODGE CHALLENGER BODY AND EVERTHING THAT GOES WITH THE BODY SERARATE.
