Vehicle Detail

We are proud to offer this Unique 1969 California Camaro 'Special '. Although, She is not* an ‘SS’ Super Sport: This Unique Camaro defies classification VIN#124379L518916 Born in Van Nuys California In this case SS stands for ‘Special Stuff’ and she has more of it than Chevy intended in 1969. Great care was taken in preservation, resurrection and rebirth of this super car. (see next paragraph & specs. Below) Driving it is an experience that is nothing short of Awesome! Let the Bidding begin at just $19.69 Please allow for all pics to load (may take couple of minutes on older computers) What separates this Iconic Super car from the numerous other Camaros on the market today is that it is a bonafide California car with special paint and trim. It retains stock appearance as a basic 69 Camaro but with Vintage small block engine built to the hilt(350-400 HP est.)but totally streetable with 3 speed automatic/stall converter. She is Not* an “SS”(Super Sport) from the factory: But Better ‘Special’. A new breed of Sport: built far past factory specs. The best we can figure, the car actually was a Special Order*: Special paint code ”-“ with deluxe interior(houndstooth & wood grain). She performs on a par with modern cars but has the incredible classic look feel and sound. Just imagine taking a dry California beauty and spending countless thousands of dollars to on every aspect of the car inside and out. We refer to it as a ‘Special ’ aka ‘Sleeper’ which is a discreet performance car: 'Wolf in Sheeps clothing'. In our humble opinion it is better than a restomod, prostreet not run of the mill SS clone.. In this case ’SS’ badging may be interpreted as: Special Sport, Super Sleeper, or Special Stuff.... and can be easily replaced with discreet chevy “bow tie”emblems or what ever you desire. or just remove*** grill badge with its 2 nuts and go with clean grill no emblem Wearing correct flat hood and without exterior bells and whistles: Unlike the Z28, ZL1, Pace car, or Yenko and similar to the COPO cars the only things that give any hint of it being a Sleeper is It’s cam at idle and the roar on acceleration. The speedometer and odometer work properly and read just 65,199 miles which may possibly be original looking at the condition of the car especially the underside. She just cruises along city street or country road.. No problem. The end result is a special drivers car like NO other. It really is in a class of its own . If you desire unique classic style and stellar performance: This Camaro is for you! It gets more thumbs up than any newer series will ever get and rightfully so! Thats why Chevy redesigned the Camaro in 2009 to try to capture the spirit of the '69 and never will. Why bother with an over priced Z28? You can have just as much fun and all of attention a when you can have a more unique machine with comparable performance. In 2009 Chevy came out with the fifth generation Camaro which owes its success to real Camaro… 1969 1st generation. The gen. 5 bears a lot more than just resemblance to the ’69: the body lines are nearly identical. The Eggcrate grill and bulbous fenders with 3 vertical lines on rear ¼ panels, retro wheels and even many period colors are taken directly from the 1969. Chevy even tried to recreate the vintage sound of the 1969 Additionally, the drive train has the same basic configuration : V8 rearwheel drive & disc brakes and automatic trans. The new Camaro cannot even hold a candle to this special classic Camaro. This car has more than enough GO and impressive to show as well. Attention and lots of money put in all of the right areas. It has incredible power, speed and torque This car is magnificent. She is Super Sexy! Finished in a beautiful color which we believe is vintage Corvette Aztec Bronze and trimmed in black and white houndstooth. The color combination is breath taking and exterior has great depth and shine.. With minor imperfections you must look to find ie chips etc. It is not a Pebble Beach concours car The paint looks just a few years old with great depth and luster. The body takes on sensational hues depending on the light She is gorgeous . If one wishes to delete any options, accessories or wheels you may just swap to suit your individual tastes. Interior is beautiful black vinyl with deluxe black and white hounds tooth seat inserts, deluxe wood grain accents and console The cabin is fully decked out and creates the classic driving experience Deluxe full size center console including 4 supplementary gagues This Wolf has a professionally built Chevy small block with casting number 3932386. According to our research it is correct for 69 Camaro 327/350 ci. We do not have a Dyno but we were told the motor probably produces in the range of 350-400 HP This car has throttle response better than many big block rat motors like 396, 427 and 454. Following is technical info as provided by owner: Motor- Block-327/350 casting # 3932386 bored .60 overwith Pro Topline heads with 200cc intake runner and combustion camber 50cc 2.02 intake valve +.100 long and 1.60 exhaust valve + .100 long, competition cam cs xs 290-10 valve adjustment (intake .016 )(exhaust .016 ) gross valve lift intake .540 exhaust .558, duration @ .050 intake lobe lift .360 exhaust .372, lobe separation 110.
